For Sugar Barge RV Resort and Marina: I stayed there middle of May 2024 for 4N/5D. Heading from LA to NorCal , we made a reservation in the middle area. I wasn’t familiar with this area and had a hard time to figure it out. Allsatys app link to apple map or google map but road conditions are not good for first timers. We expect a lot because of away from city/ waterfront and pay premium.
We stayed at PREMIUM LOT. I was very disappointed with location and lot. You can even see water, no shade, city water hook up is almost at the ground level, you have to remove gravel or digg for connection, you might need a adopter to make extensions . They provided chairs/bbq grill/table& umbrella but I think it’s overpriced. Premium area is the only area no shade and hot sun all day and most of campers are long therm/ permanent residents. It seems like a business running by family. Try to keep it clean and well maintained, unfortunately that area always windy and hot. We couldn’t even opened to use our awnings. Unless you have boat nothing you can do that much. There is no trash dumpster but they picking up everything day morning if you put your trash outside. First day we put trash bag outside as instructed and guess what?! Black crow bird ripped the bag and trash all of the place. We had to clean up waited for the crews pick up trash. Motorcycle Bikers come in/out morning & night while we staying that was very noisy and irritating.
Overall rating for values; I wouldn’t go back again.

For Sugar Barge RV Resort and Marina: We stay at Sugar Barge several times a year, sometimes over night, sometimes for a week. It offers easy access to the delta and all of its water activities. There is a nice playground for children and a large grass area for groups to gather. There is no dog park, but dogs on leash are welcome. We like the grassy sites, but some are not level. We just use our levelers if necessary. The three restroom and shower facilities are newly refurbished and kept clean. The staff has always been friendly and responsive to any problem we might have. There is an after hours number you can use, if you need the staff to help quiet down noisy neighbors, or in our case a live-aboard’s barking dog. This is the delta, so bring mosquito repellent or citronella candles. Mornings at sites near the drive through road can be noisy with people going to work and fishermen coming to play. The staff will try to accommodate your requests for a particular site.

For Sugar Barge RV Resort and Marina: Nice park, nice people, but super crowded over memorial day weekend. We were there Tuesday-Monday around Memorial Day. (Nice and quiet until the weekend). The sites are grassy (and muddy from over watering), and super narrow...Our neighbors were partying under our bed slideout until midnight.
The bar and grill was super crowded, but the food and drinks were good.

For Sugar Barge RV Resort and Marina: Nice campground for fishing. We camped April 1-14. Mosquitoes were so bad! This area is swampy with lots of vegetation. 11 ft below sea level. Not much entertainment within 10 mile radius. If you suffer from allergies, avoid this area in the spring.
