For Country Hills RV Park: My karma must be all wrong here because other reviewers had good things to say! I did not just show up, I had made a reservation two weeks in advance because we were visiting my daughter who moved to Beaumont and they said they had lots of sites open. But when we showed up, they seemed surprised like they weren’t expecting us. We were put in a spot right behind the office next to a backhoe and men working! Smelled sewer right away, and thought, good grief!

For Country Hills RV Park: I had reason to stay here on 3/8/18 en-route home from the desert. I have a 27' coach and towing my car. I really appreciated being able to have a pull through spot for the night. The directions everywhere are totally wrong, with Google maps likely to route you down roads that don't work well for large motor homes.
I was heading west and simply got off I10 at Beaumont Ave. Turn left onto Beaumont, left onto 1st St and then right onto Michigan which becomes becomes Manzanita and dead ends at the park.
It was a very pleasant stay. The place seems to be occupied primarily by long time folks but nothing negative about that; just clearly established sites nothing offensive at all. It's one of those on multiple levels and reasonably scenic. The grounds are really well kept, the bathrooms older but very tidy and clean. There is no cable and the internet wifi actually worked reasonably well once I was able to access it. There's a pool and hot tub as well and a dedicated area to let dogs run free! Beware: they charge you for using the showers, I think 25 cents for 7 minutes. The young gal at the front desk was super helpful with my initial not understanding how to get on the wifi network. I'm sure I shouldn't say this but she also gave me a bunch of quarters when I balked at having to pay for the showers:).
The train is not super close but near enough to hear it. I was worried it would be sounding the whistle all night long but it was quiet at night, very quiet.
All and all, I would stop here again in the future for sure.
