For Bakersfield RV Resort: We have stayed here several times over the years. We use it as overnight stop. Free cookies on check in, pool, escorted to your site and on site restaurant. All with great service and friendly employees.
Can’t remember exact rates but the amount we paid ranged from $45 to $55 per night. Now KOA has taken over and rates are $70 to $80 per night. Will find another place to stay

For Bakersfield RV Resort: Stayed here for several weeks. Great front desk but there are some maintenance guys that are rude and aggressive. When we left, we were “flagged†(cannot book in the future) because we overfilled our drinking water by mistake. Management refuses to return calls. Ready reviews on Yelp†for other experiences.

For Bakersfield RV Resort: We love this RV park, and how convenient it is traveling north or south through central California. This park is good enough that we often plan leaving or departure times so that we can stay here wherever we may have been or where we may be headed. Pool & hot-tub are a welcome relief after hours of driving in our 26’ GMC (1976) motorhome. Totally lovely that they will serve their great Chicken Piccatta dinner directly to the coach (or anything else you might choose from their on-site restaurant), but it’s also nice to just take the short walk in, and enjoy the company within their quality restaurant. I’m not sure what the timing is, but they have occasionally had some local musical entertainment at the restaurant a few times when we have stayed. Front desk people have been wonderful, (including the fresh cookies they offer incoming guests) as have been those who work the residential areas. Yes, it is Bakersfield, which is an agricultural and transportation hub. That’s why it is so convenient, wherever you may be headed. Occasionally you may hear freight-trains in the distance late at night. That is the nature of “99â€, one of my favorite highways. We are “low maintenance†guests, and we love this place. I assume that it helps them if you call ahead for reservations, as we do, and we generally request a site near the pool. We have never been disappointed.

Sean
For Bakersfield RV Resort: Pros: level lots, mostly pull-through, restaurant on site that delivers to your rig (we didn’t eat there), laundry room with 6 out of 10 washers working, convenient to route 99. Cons: parking lot feel, pool is aged and needs resurfacing, road noise and train noise, rude camp host. We’d never return here, mostly because of the nasty host and the noise, but I can see how it’s a good stopover for folks heading to or from points north and south. We travel in a 34’TT and are full-timers.

For Bakersfield RV Resort: Not much to add to other reviews. The park sets the standard for high level city parks. The restaurant is legit—had dinner and breakfast- both excellent. Bar is lively and friendly. Locals do come here for the quality. Park is well laid out with plenty of room to maneuver. Had to unhook toad on a 45’ MH to fit.

For Bakersfield RV Resort: Clean park with plenty of pull thrus. The Restaraunt is large with inside and patio seating. The food is excellent. Staff are professionals and also genuinely nice people. I loved this park.
It’s 1/2 block from Camping World.
