For Albion River Campground: Very nice location. Ocean, beach, river within a few steps. The lady that checked us in was very nice & informative. If you have a boat or kayak you can launch & go up the river or out into the ocean. We visited in early June & the campground was probably 10% full, so we had plenty of room & didn’t feel cramped at all. The spots are close together, so if you visit during a busy time you’ll probably get a good view of your neighbors RV. The access road is right after you go across the bridge (if you come from the South) so be aware. The actual road is paved, but a bit beat up & narrow. You go down a steep hill & at one point have a sharp right turn that requires some extra attention if you have a larger rig or trailer. As someone put it in an earlier review, the bathrooms / showers are like the ones in a California State Park. Their not fancy at all, but get the job done. We liked our stay here & will be back.

For Albion River Campground: We had such a nice time here! It was awesome to have a private beach as well as a River beside us. The playground was awesome. The waves were big, and it was a great beach for just watching the waves. The staff was super nice, and we are very happy that we found this place!

For Albion River Campground: I found the place quite charming. We were there in off season so could spread out. I am more of a nature lover so this had cute beach, river had seals catching fish. The bridge is neat. The bath facilities are typical for California state parks, quarters needed for showers. Fisherman and divers kind of place. Owners very helpful and nice. If you are looking for KOA type this is not it.

For Albion River Campground: Very dated facility. Wifi runs on kbytes. I value customer service; certainly felt no warm and fuzzies here. Gave up 1 nights fee to move up the coast. Would not return.

For Albion River Campground: Beautiful setting but dated facilities. No amenities. If you need a place to spend the night while passing through the area, it works.
