For Rest Stop: July 3, 2024: This rest area appears well maintained and had overall clean grounds and parking areas the day I stopped to use the RV Dump Station. This is one of the apparently few Wash Dept of Transportation dump stations still in operation on the WA interstate hwys. The next three (traveling eastbound on this hwy) have been taken out of service, apparently indefinitely. This station was clean and fully functional when I used it today, including the rinse eater and freshwater pedestals. Both are operated by push-buttons that give 40-seconds of water flow with each push. NOTE:AS OF THIS DATE THE OFFICIAL WA HWY ROADWAYS WEB PAGE MAP AND APP INCORRECTLY SHOW THE NEXT THREE EASTBOUND REST AREA DUMP STATIONS AS IN SERVICE. THEY ARE NOT.
