Bob on the Rocks
For Fords Cove Marina: Note this is a site for for tenters and camper vans and one small trailer site, so no bigger rigs (getting down the only road accessing the site would be an issue in any case). Nice, small (maybe a dozen sites, maybe two or three suitable for campers under 8 m/25 ft). Services include electricity (15 amp) in at least some sites, no water or sewer connections and decent WIFI if you are close to the cabins. Nice views and close to water (but no real beaches). Quite well stocked store on site (though no beer and wine). Restaurant that seemed quite popular. Only two bathrooms one of which is also a pay shower (nice and reasonable, $2 will get a good shower, bring loonies); can be a bit busy but not bad as not a large number of campers and, seemingly, not used by boaters berthed at the marina. If you are cycling, you can take a 3 km trail going south/right off the ferry and save a 16 km road ride.
The only issue for us, not the fault of the campground, is that the extensive trails on the island are not very accessible if you are walking or cycling to them. Other than the trail to the ferry, you are looking at distances of three km (2 miles) on narrow, moderately busy roads to get to them.
