For Rest Stop: Great rest area UNLESS you walk a long hair dog in the grass. WARNING: SAND BURRS. Spent an hour combing. Otherwise 5 stars!

For Rest Stop: I was driving cross country and was trying to push Amarillo, however the fog and light rain kept the speeds down a bit. I saw a rest stop and wanted to get out to stretch my legs, I noticed a lot of 18 wheelers parked here and quite a few RV’s too.
The bathrooms were clean and there was always staff there on site Inside.
Since I was towing a trailer I stuck myself between 2 18 wheelers and not away from them, I figured it would be safer in numbers (since I haven’t stayed at many rest stops like this before). During the night one rig pulled out and another pulled in, it didn’t really disturb me.
Overall i have to say this is one of the best Rest stops I’ve stopped in, Texas did it right here!
Plenty of space to park your car, truck or rig along with nice bathrooms.
If I drive through that area again I will stop there without question!!
