For Fort Steele Campground: Bob is an angry, controlling, little man. All you need to do is look at the 1 star reviews or browse his website.
He truly is a cowardly, spiteful, vengeful little child.
Slandering his competition to his patrons and on his website and flexing his small-man muscles by trying to exert dominance and control over his guests. Quite pathetic, actually.
It's like they say, you give a small man a little bit of power and you have a big problem. This is what awaits you at Fort Steele Campground. Go up the street to the REAL Fort Steele Campground and enjoy a wonderful group of people who understand the concept of hospitality.

For Fort Steele Campground: This is a gem. Quiet, in the woods, yet only .7 of a mile off the highway. The showers were very clean. Old school style campground that is quaint and charming. The owners, and Bob are very friendly. To NB from Ontario with your scathing review of Bob asking you to leave after you overstayed, this is your problem not his. Your all CAPS complaint that he micromanages every move is ridiculous.

For Fort Steele Campground: Bob, the manager greeted us when we arrived around 8 pm. Seemed like a friendly fellow. When we were 1/2 hour late checking out the next day, we seen a side of Bob that was not pleasant. He was downright rude,ignorant and starting yelling at us to leave or he was going to charge us for a 1/2 day rate because we were so late leaving. If the park was really busy, I can understand the strict check out time, but there were only around 6 other campers in this park and it was a Tuesday morning. HE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PARK ATTENDENT WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. HE WILL MICRO MANAGE YOUR EVERY MOVE!!!

For Fort Steele Campground: My wife and I were on our way back home to Manitoba and stumbled across this beautiful campground hidden away several miles from the highway and is nice and quiet. We were greeted by Bob who has a great sense of humor and just as sarcastic as myself. The resulting banter was a lot of fun.
Not sure if I'll ever come out this way again but if I do, you can be sure I will come back here!

For Fort Steele Campground: The most friendly owners and staff. Really quite and peaceful, super clean everything. They don’t take reservations which is great. Super clean solar heated pool. Don’t miss out on this little piece of paradise
