For Country Maples RV Resort: We got there at 4:15 pm and the office was closed. A map to our site and a list of rules were tacked to the board. This is a large and extremely crowded campground. Many folks seemed like permanent residents. We backed into our tiny site and found that one had to purchase tokens for the showers and for the internet. Walked across the campground to the store, purchased said items. Sign on for the internet is tiny white on white boxes. Best done in low light. To be fair, we were there on a weekend night but the decibel level from the screaming children for the rest of the afternoon was quite high. When backing a couple of feet off our leveling blocks the next morning, hubby ran into the berm at the rear of the site. We were in a 23 foot camper van and we barely fit. Roads are bumpy dirt, corners are tight. Unless you are a member of Holiday Trails RV Resorts, there is a $10 fee to dump. Worst place we stayed on a thirty day road trip.

For Country Maples RV Resort: My family loves it there! There’s something for everyone. Two playgrounds, a pool, a large field for anything you’d want. Mini golf ($3 for kids and $5 for adults) an arcade, and general store. Lots of trees and privacy and you always see staff members doing some kind of work or maintenance. They really take care of the place. Wifi is $3 per day. There’s also a clubhouse where they have movie night’s, crafts and breakfasts although nothing at the clubhouse is currently operational due to Covid.
