For Westwind RV and Golf Resort: NOT DOG FRIENDLY
- a lovely and clean park however you cannot let your pet urinate or defecate anywhere except in a postage stamp size, gravel, chain link fenced area in a corner of the park. Or, you can go through a gate to the desert with 2†of dust to walk through. No grass or ball throwing area on site. Suggest you drive your pet out of the park to do their business. Haven’t seen that before. A little too rulesy for us. Definitely not a park for us.

For Westwind RV and Golf Resort: One of the nicest facilities we have experienced. Lot’s of long term residents, but accepts short terms like us. We stayed two nights and received a $30 a night rate.

For Westwind RV and Golf Resort: We stayed a night at the Westwinds on a recent trip through Yuma. This is a huge resort near the interstate with easy access.
The staff was friendly and the park had many amenities including pool, bar, restaurant, and cute little gulf course. There are mostly seasonal residents with many large rigs and park models. Traffic noise was so constant on the north end of the park that it was like white noise machine and did not interfere with sleep. The south end of the park would be more quiet if staying longer.
Clean restrooms and showers and nice laundry. They accepted PA even during the busy winter season.
The only internet service was from a paid third party. Sites are close together. Minimal shade and privacy.
I would definitely do a short stay again. It is close to Fry's supermarket and there is a handy hardware and RV store about a block away.
