For Lake Martinez Recreation Area: Stayed in a motorhome with tow vehicle. March 2021
We were told when making reservations there were full hook ups, not true. Water and electricity only. The bathroom with one shower is pitiful. Very run down and primitive. Night skies were starry and sunrise / sunsets beautiful! Windy days with lots of dust, especially when other campers speed by. Complaints to office are received with a smile, but nothing done. Super expensive for what you get. Wish we would have stayed at Desert Breeze!! Nicer park, better amenities and much better prices!

For Lake Martinez Recreation Area: We tried several attempts to contact this facility. However, there was no answer. Decided to contact the facility not far from this facility, no answer. Finally called Gila Bend facility, the reported the two mentioned facility has been closed since Covid issues. Okay, I get it, but how hard is it to put a message indicating this facility is temporary closed! I hope the CO reads these reviews.

For Lake Martinez Recreation Area: Great place to go. Not a ton of spots. Electric and water no dump. You can dump at lake Martinez. I went at night tuff to find but plenty of people at the lake to tell you were it is.

For Lake Martinez Recreation Area: Electric and water hookups worked fine. There is no dump station or sewer hookup. No Wifi and poor cell phone signal. You could add a star if you like fishing. The campground is set right next to the lake where you can rent boats. All kinds of exotic birds fly around the area. Humming birds were feeding on a bush right outside our window. The camp officer was very friendly. The campground is under the auspices of the USMC and is pretty far away from everything. This makes the night sky gorgeous. It is a good get-away-from-it-all place.
