WanderingWithUs

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Paid $35 a night after a 15% discount for Escapees and that is for water, sewer, and 50amp hookups. There is also a discount for FMCA but not as much.

As others have mentioned... free WiFi available but is intermittant at times.

Near the interstate...but not terribly noisy at all.

Gated park with security makes it a safer place to stay.

Has clean showers and laundry room ($1.75 to wash and $1.75 to dry).

If you stay here you get a couple dollars off per person if you visit the Meteor Crater. You also get 5 cents per gallon off at their Mobile gas station (still more expensive than other gas stations within an hour from here).

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Excellent ! Safe, secure, level, ... Utilities all good... Cheap too ;) ... WiFi needs some help but great stay over night. Sites are large! Stayed in a Motorhome towing.

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Planned to stay one night. Ended up staying three. We loved it here. Quiet, well maintained with lovely trees and vegetation scattered about. Great staff. This one's a jewel.

HowMar

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Lotsa trees that give welcome shade. Private bathrooms (especially those by the office) feel just like home. We found the 2 geocaches. Landscaping has been carefully done with large red rocks everywhere. The onsite store is well stocked. The camp is right near the entrance to the meteor crater. We paid $28 with GS discount.

Ed

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Very nice park and just off from I40 @ exit 233. Reasonably priced ($$$) not $$$$ and well constructed with shade for picnic table. Great place for a little downtime when travel pace is high.

Chloe

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Simple RV park, great for overnight or a few days of quiet. We stayed 3 days and just enjoyed the quiet. There is a fairly well stocked store, fuel and propane. The crater is just a few miles down the road. There are also geocashing sites within walking distance if the park. We will stop again when in the area. Wifi good.

Kphins

For Meteor Crater RV Park: Clean park. Friendly crew. Two dog parks. Private bathroom and showers both very clean. Internet was a little touch and go as we had trouble stating connected. Down the road from the crater and central to other good day trips. Not traveling with kids but looks like little entertainment for them if you are.
