For Ten-x Campground: Beautiful campground set in a pine forest a short drive to Grand Canyon. Features large, well spaced sites with plenty of privacy including many pull throughs. Water is available and the pit toilets are clean. If you can't get into one of the National Park campgrounds this is a fine alternative. If you value privacy and peace and quiet over proximity, it may in fact, be a better alternative. We camped here in a travel trailer.

For Ten-x Campground: We visited the south rim in mid-October 2014. Ten-X was closed, so we tried Forest Service Road 302. Very nice. There's a map within the first quarter mile that shows where you can camp. No problem finding spot for 34' RV. Only potential problem is helicopters leaving airport for tours of the Grand Canyon during the day, which we thought was kind of cool. We were gone during the day, so saw first flights around 9am or last around 5:30pm. The sign for FR 302 is south of Tusayan, between airport and McDonalds.

For Ten-x Campground: Beautiful campground. Large spacious sites. Great camp host. Will be back.
