For Grand Canyon Camper Village: Got here and no WiFi, no laundry and way too much money. Only thing good about it is that it is very close to Grand Canyon. Glad we r here for only 2 nights. Would never stay here again. Was told management is doing away with wifi and laundry!

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: Not as bad as the reviews say. We were pleased with everything but the price, but hey, it's right next to the canyon. Some spots have fire rings, but ours did not. Four day stay was fine.

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: Stark and dusty. The office smelled very musty. The residential area adjacent and behind the campground was run down and made you feel a bit unsafe. However, across the street and down the road were very nice hotels and the National Geographic IMAX theater-visitor building. Restaurants were slim pickings. The shuttle stop was within walking distance. Gas prices were a dollar more than in Cameron City. So fill up before you arrive.

We ended up leaving a day early because the campground was so depressing, hot and dusty. We were willing to stay anywhere else that had a tree-even primitive. However, we lucked out and found a site at Trailer Village in the park due to a cancellation.

I would not return.

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: Very poor and $$$ for this campground... Not very level sites... Had electrical problems in my Motorhome after connecting here... My inverter blew and surge protector didn't protect... NPS campground was full so we tried here... Mistake ... Very run down campground. Looks like owners have bled it to death over the years. Also on final approach for the airport ... Helicopters all day long !

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: Stayed here in a 38 ft. motorhome over Memorial Day weekend because Grand Canyon campground was full. Office staff were pleasant and helpful. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes from Tusayan to and from the Grand Canyon. Very convenient as traffic and parking were very busy over holiday weekend. The campground is run down and not very well maintained which is a shame because it has the potential to be very nice. We were camped almost next to the office and wifi was almost nonexistent, but had decent cell service on Verizon.

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: When you have a monopoly you can be rude...can't believe no one has opened a second RV park here. This place is dirty, poorly maintained, sites are so far from level it's ridiculous. We had a confirmed written notice of a site with fire pit. On arrival we were told by the young man ( who proudly advised I've worked here 5 years) that no sites so equipped were available. Seems the Europeans with their rented Class A units were in the park and would be back to their fire pit sites later. Well they weren't and numerous fire pits went unused. Maybe I should have offered cash to this young man.
Showers are $2 for 8 minutes..internet is decent..no cable...no pool...no grass.
But, on the bright side it is at the South Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon.

For Grand Canyon Camper Village: water, electricity hookup $36... Pay extra for showers. No cable tv, only park at entrance to Grand Canyon is how they get away with it... rather drive an extra hour to Williams next time..
