For K-Bar RV Resort: I do not know why a previous reviewer said that they do not take truck campers. There were some there when I stayed there. I would call the campground to be sure. There is no wifi internet in the back of the campground where we stayed, but the internet at the clubhouse was fine. The people at the campground were very friendly and there were numerous activities going on most of the time. The roads were somewhat tricky due to all the trees, but we made it in and out. There are numerous hiking trails and the park is close to the City Park. Most sites are seasonals.

For K-Bar RV Resort: Owners have evidently decided that truck campers and teardrops are unacceptable for “the image” they are trying to promote. I ’ve stayed here before in my truck camper, amd no issues then. I’ve spent more $$$ on my truck camper set up than most people spend on their RVs, and yet they are discriminating against people who drive truck campers? Ridiculous.

For K-Bar RV Resort: New owners in 2016. This is a quiet, clean and good looking park. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The overnight spots are near the office and showers/laundry. Level, rock and large. There is a nice dog run with poop tools, trash can, chairs and toys. There are old, high desert junipers everywhere throughout. 6,500’ elevation. I would gladly spend a week here (or more). Don’t let the previous reviews discourage you, it’s clean, friendly and pleasant.

For K-Bar RV Resort: Just stayed at Kbar from October 1 thru 4, 2015. We had two motorhomes in our group and were very disappointed in the quality of service. More so the staff were very unprofessional. Specifics include a cable system that requires a specific cable box for use. The catch is that a park employee must install the device. After many attempts "Jack" finally got the device to work on one tv by running a cable outside the coach and in through a window even though my cabling works well. After he left I found that my control box had been completely detached from every input and output. We then realized that although we were only three slots from the park office the WIFI did not work anywhere at our site. We asked to move to another site directly across from the site and were denied even though nobody used that site during our stay.
My wife and I have traveled all over the country in our RVs and have never seen this sort of attitude. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
