For Happy Trails Campground and Mini Motel: Just about sunset when we contacted Happy Trails before heading north from the highway. Communication was prompt and helpful, thank you. Nice ride thru the Joshua Forest.
It’s always a good thing to arrive in the dark and have a spot available.
Sadly the next morning was 40 degrees and hailing. Sometimes chicken, sometimes feathers.
Much to see and do, so we’ll be back.

For Happy Trails Campground and Mini Motel: Wow! What an unexpected find. Our friends told us if we are going up to Lake Mead, hook up here. It was easy in and out with our boat, the host was friendly and helpful, we got free WIFI, we were right in town for gas and restaurants and close, close, close to the South Cove at Lake Mead. Great pricing, nice basic park. We all had fun and the views of the Grand Wash Cliffs are awesome at sunset. They also have a little motel here which is nostalgic and cute. Showers and Bathrooms also available if needed. Love this place and we are definitely coming back.

For Happy Trails Campground and Mini Motel: We had a great stay here. We were traveling cross country in our RV and oh boy the views are Awesome. Easy in and out with large in/out and turnaround. Easy hookup & electric included. My wife wanted her friends from Vegas to come by and visit, they stayed at the motel. It is super clean, comfy with nice shower/Tv and all the basics. Best of all the owners are so friendly and helpful! They also have a camping area and showers! It is right in town and yet close to Pierce Ferry Road. Close to Skywalk, The Lake, Lake Mead, Colorado river. We ended up staying longer than planned. Great get away spot and best of all the PRICE IS GREAT.

For Happy Trails Campground and Mini Motel: Stayed on 9/19/2016 for one night on the way to Grand Canyon Skywalk. Lady on the phone was very nice when I made the reservation. One hour drive to Skywalk. Nice sunset. No frills kind of place but would stay again if we come back to this area. Traveling in a 25 ft motorhome with 2 dogs.
