For Cattail Cove State Park: Great time, clean, pretty, easy in and out parking. Fishing the Colorado River and hiking is first class. One drawback was the price ($30 per night) being a little high when no sewer connections available, saying that, the dump station, on the way out, is one of the cleanest and easiest we have ever used. We plan on spending more time here when temps moderate.

For Cattail Cove State Park: Another gem of a state park. On the lake with interesting foliage, birds & wonderful hiking along the rim of the lake. Campsites are cozy with a variety of sizes. $20 with water, power, dump station, nice showers. We camped in a 25 ft fifth wheel. The camp was full on our 2nd night but they have an upper parking lot for overflow where you look down on the lake, can dry camp for $15.
