For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park:
For the high price and the reviews I was expecting more from this place.
The trees are low and in need of maintenance. Difficult to avoid scratching rig.
Sites are pull through but the whole place lacked ambiance. Everybody stacked in, not a pleasing layout. The permanent trailers on the east side made it even worse and you have to walk through those to get to one of the trails. Cable box thrashed. Had to rewire it ourselves just to get it to work. No WiFi or ATT reception. The pluses are the location and the plentiful elk that roam throughout completely comfortable with people.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Nice spot all around. Obviously a high volume operation with a lot of people in and out all the time. Full hookups and relatively easy access to the site. There is not tons of rooms between sites, but that is to be expected at a place like this. Quiet campground, with elk walking calmly and freely throughout. There's a very well equipped market nearby (10 to 15 min walk, 3 min bike) and the walk to the South Rim is 15 to 20 minutes along a nice paved trail with lots of wildlife (deer, elk, various birds). Getting to the park is not easy as there are no real signs once you enter the GCNP.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: We stayed here for the first time and it was nice! Full hookups, quiet, pet friendly, and had facilities (bathroom / showers). The only complaint is it can be hard to find as the signs are not very clear and neither is the map. There are signs that say village but they are not talking about the RV park. Overall nice place to stay and get to see the beautiful Grand Canyon! This RV park is located inside the park.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: This campground is located in the Grand Canyon National Park, and is the full hookup campground for the Park. The sites are fairly tight, and with the low tree branches and undergrowth beside the roads, it can be challenging for a big rig. When we were there, there was a lot of foreign visitors, in their rental RV's, mostly French. They have no clue about camping etiquette, and will walk through your site rather than walk on the roadways. We had numerous people cutting through our site in the week that we were there. They have a bath house available, but it is located in the Mather Campground, which is about a half mile down the road. You can catch the shuttle bus from the campground, and link up with the other buses that go up and down the rim to the observation sites. They need to tell the foreign guests about camping etiquette, trim the trees and mark the one way roadways in the campground. Numerous people were driving the wrong way in the campground while we were there.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Great NP campground! We stayed on E Street row and had a nice level concrete pad with a big shade tree. Spots not too crowded together. Bathrooms close by -ok to use when needed. No showers nearby. Full hookup. Good central location to drive or quickly hop on shuttle that has pickup near registration office. Enjoyed the Elk wandering around and the stars were some of the best we’ve seen in the West. Will return!!

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: The best NP campground. Full hook ups. Did not use bathrooms or showers. Had to drive about 1/2 mile to laundry. Lots of Elk in campground, walk or bike to S Rim.

For Trailer Village South Rim - Grand Canyon National Park: Great location. Nice sites. Stayed in Row P. The camp services had hot showers ($2) and laundry. Staff friendly and helpful.
My complaint is not with the camp - but campers or resident workers who do not feel their dogs need to be on leash. One small trailer has a puppy yapping and running around outside for a long time with no one watching it.
Please be respectful of others.
The wooded area was peaceful (except for the couple who let their dogs run off leash in the woods...) 🙄
