For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Stayed overnight at the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site and Campground, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Arizona. This big rig friendly campground has picnic tables, a fire ring, trash receptacles, and two vault toilets. There are no hookups, no water, and no dump station —dry camping only. Adjacent to the campground are ancient rock carvings/petroglyphs. This BLM campground is located just 11 miles off of I-8, Exit 102 and made for an excellent overnight stay. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 24.2 Mbps download speed and 19.9 Mbps upload speed. AT&T cell service was barely usable at 1 bar LTE. For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Peaceful and quiet while I was here. I stayed 2 nights.
I found the Petroglyphs interesting.Pit toilets,I didn't use.Dumpster.Friendly host.Large sites.
Nice place to stay.Park is dog friendly but not around the petroglyphs.Would stay again.

For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Excellent desert campground. It is somewhat remote but has easy access. Very peaceful an quiet. Many spots to choose from. I give it four stars only because the restroom was locked.

For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Large, well maintained desert campground. Large multiple sites. Good paved road to campground. Beautiful desert setting.

For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Nice place to stay, especially given that all of the other BLM sites heading west from tuscon on I8 have warnings about smuggling. We felt safe and the petroglyphs were an interesting added bonus. We had 4 bars of Verizon LTE.

For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Exit 102 from I-8 12 mile Road is paved all the way.Very nice and clean and very quiet. Petroglyphs are very interesting. Only $8 and half off with Golden Age passport.

For Painted Rock Petroglyph Campground: Very clean easy drive on hard dirt packed roads. Was able to take our 37 ft class A in without any problems. Well cared for camping area. We paid 8 bucks and stayed one night.
