For Distant Drums RV Resort: This is one of the nicest parks we have visited. We stayed in the park for two months' It is the first park we have stayed at with cement pads for your RV and vehicle. Sites are cramped and you feel like you're in bed with your neighbor but they are nice sites. Road noise of the nearby interstate highway is loud in parts of the park but bearable. The sites and facilities are very clean and the staff members are very friendly and attentive. Overall, we loved the park and will stay again.

For Distant Drums RV Resort: I don’t get the other reviews that say too close together. Plenty of room. The pull through are plenty big enough but the front doors are facing each other that’s just the way they have it set up. Most of the out side spaces are head in for class A type.
Facilities are top notch. Personnel is very friendly and helpful.
The back is are big with room for car beside. Concrete pads and crushed gravel for some back ins.
I would stay here again.

For Distant Drums RV Resort: The space they give you to park your RV in is so small we had no place to sit outside. We have a 35' fifth wheel that we could barely fit into the spot. They send 2 employees to help each guest park because it is impossible to park without help. It was 15 minutes and 20 tries later and we were "in" the spot. Then our truck was squeezed in right by the RV and we had about 20 inches between the two. We had to open the doors of the truck carefully so we don't hit the RV. I think sardines have more room in the can to move around. Also, our fresh water spigot is 12" from our neighbors sewage and it is overflowing. Disgusting.

For Distant Drums RV Resort: We could not rest at this park. The sites are very close together and every morning another rv is getting power washed from 8 am to 2 pm. I guess they are running a special. Stay more then 1 night, get your 15 year old rv sprayed with chemicals so it can look like it is just 10 years old?

For Distant Drums RV Resort: Honest review. This is not the worst rv park we have been to and definitely not the best. It would be fair to say that this rv park is average. The main issue: sites are way too close together. The corner of our RV is exactly 2 feet from another RV. The other RV's around us are 6-10' away. It wouldn't be the worst thing if everybody was considerate. But, 2 of our neighbors smoke outside around the clock so we have to keep our windows closed at all times. One neighbor had a sewage leak onto our fresh water hose, and electric cable and left it for me to clean. And if that is not enough we have a neighbor sitting outside talking on the phone all day. We can hear every word. He starts at 8 am. This is the true picture of some of the issues you have to deal with in most rv parks. We know, we have been to well over a hundred of them. If you are on YouTube, you will hear from many bs you tubers that this life style is amazing and you should "just do it". But after being a full time rver for years we know the truth. It is not as great as people on you tube say it is and it is definitely getting worse with the millions of new rv's on the road every day.

For Distant Drums RV Resort: Stayed here a month and would love to give this park five stars but the road noise is so awful that I’m deducting two. Cattle grates on one side and ramp to I 17 on other. Also sites are very tight and there is no privacy. If these two features don’t bother you then this is a wonderful place. Staff is very friendly and park is spotless. Very nice facilities, especially the small pool and hot tub. There are lots of interesting ruins to visit and things to do in this area.
