For Rest Stop: This rest stop is open as of 9/24/24. There is only one for both directions so westbound traffic has to cross over the hwy to arrive at this stop, then cross back to be on your way. The pet area is overrun with thorny stickers. My dog wanted nothing to do with it, so we crossed over to the dogs-not-allowed picnic area, poorly maintained but no stickers.
