For Stephens: Small campground near Blakey Dam close to road so some noise. Sites generally well spaced with full hookups and gravel pads. I started in site 3, November 1, 2022 which has best river view and plan to stay until mid December. Rates half off with senior pass and they allowed extended stays due to low use this time of year. Campground generally only about half full I liked perimeter sites better than interior, greater privacy. River was very low and narrow apparently due weather conditions. My AT&T and Verizon MIFI devices were not strong but worked. My T-mobile device got nothing. Rangers made regular rounds and bathrooms appeared to be serviced on a regular basis. Twenty or so minutes to Planet Fitness in Hot Springs for workouts and good showers. Road construction at times created problems. Rained a lot and some weather upper 20's with generally 40 t0 60 during the day. Lake good paddling and state park eagle boat tour fun.

For Stephens: Nice quiet campground just off Blakey Dam Road. Road is not high traffic, so no issue. Full hookups. Large level sites. $30 per night ($15 with Am the Beautiful Pass).

For Stephens: Huge sites, full hookups, good shade. Only one site backs to Lake Hamilton, site 3. All sites are nice. No AT&T service at all, some Verizon.

For Stephens: Very nice COE campground with full hook ups. It is located at the base of the Lake Ouachita Dam. There is a children’s park as well as bathhouse. I believe all of the sites are back-in. It is not a large campground. I estimate about 10 spots. We were the only ones here.
