For Prairie Creek: We have stayed here four times because it is near our son. 3 of the four times we had difficulty getting parked. Sites are narrow and 90° to the road which is also narrow. And the sites are on a hillside so that while attempting to back in you have to fight the 90° angle and your tow vehicle going up or down hill. And there are trees that can catch you in front if you not careful in your maneuvering. Maybe if you’re great at backing up up a trailer you wouldn’t have the challenges I have had. I think this time I’ve learned my lesson and won’t be staying here again. The parking stress is just not worth it. And the sites are small and not easy to walk on. I’d almost call them dangerous. Too bad because it is a pretty place right above the lake.

For Prairie Creek: Great campground, lots of space and well maintained. We were there two nights. Short drive into Rogers, AR where there are several shops my wife enjoyed. There is also the Daisy BB gun museum that is very interesting. It is also a short drive into Bentonville where there is Crystal Bridges .

For Prairie Creek: I have stayed at Prairie Creek Campground several times. It is a large campground overlooking Beaver Lake. The sites are grouped in different loops throughout the campground. Some are smaller and close together while others are larger and spread out.
When I stayed there in May I had one of the smaller sites, #63, and didn't much care for it because it was too crowded in that section. Also, there was more trash around the site than I am use to seeing. It seems like they redid the shower house. The water only approached lukewarm and it drained everywhere except to the drain. Now they have prison-grade fixtures. The sinks are small and there is almost no space to set any of your toiletries. Of course, there are no hooks nearby or anywhere to sit outside of the showers. Before this visit I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars.

For Prairie Creek: The campground itself is beautiful - on a lake- but the bathrooms were filthy. We were there for a week and they were never cleaned.

For Prairie Creek: Like most COE campgrounds this one is fine. The sites could be challenging to park. 90° back in on the side of hill with little maneuver room. It is a very busy park with lots of people coming and going pulling boats to the marina. If you’re worried about noise this one might not suit you. While we didn’t use them we heard others say the bathrooms were not clean.
