For Rising Star: A hidden gem between the cotton and corn fields on the Arkansas river. It couldn’t get any more tranquil. Covered cement picnic tables, fire pit, charcoal grill, paved pad, 50/30 amp, water, and dump station. Also had a boat ramp & shaded playgound with large mowed grassy area perfect for frisbee, playing catch, & outside play. Shower/bathroom was VERY clean, ADA compliant. We had no issues with 35’ plus tow vehicle and saw larger rigs as well. Access via Blankenship Rd NOT Tamo River Rd (we later learned). Hostess was great!

For Rising Star: Beautiful little campground! Looks like a great place to fish!! But it is not equipped to handle big rigs. The sweet lady at the gate was very helpful and accommodated our 40' fiver, but it is an older campground that is not meant for larger RV's. Bathrooms could use an update!! I will add some nice photos once I figure out how!!
