Nin-n-Geeb
For Winding Stair NF Campground: Beautiful setting on the Talimena National Scenic Byway. Easy access even for larger rigs. Sites were spacious and several we looked at were close to level. The campground was fairly clean although a bit neglected. When we were there the public water was not working and the vault toilets could have used a good cleaning. Quiet at night. Light traffic noise in the day when we were there in October. It must have been the season of the stick bugs, too. Harmless but creepy. Some nice hiking trails and beautiful drive either direction along the highest peaks of the Winding Stair Mountains.
