For Lake Chicot State Park: Lots of work being done to upgrade this park and it shows! Bath houses are gorgeous with individual bathrooms with lovely showers, all handicap accessible and super clean. Waterfront campsites have been reworked, are level, and have full hook-ups. Sites back from the water are waiting for the love….road and sites are lumpy, potted, and sites require a lot of maneuvering to get level. Trees are huge and shade is plentiful. They offer a Senior discount of 50% for AR residents and 25% for out-of-staters, making this a very economical place to stay.

For Lake Chicot State Park: Nice clean shower houses. Level sites with lots of shade. The lake and dock area is really nice as well.

For Lake Chicot State Park: Another really nice Arkansas State Park. We had a site right on the lake. Beautiful scenery! Full hookups. Nice flat paved parking pads and spacious site. Highly recommend it.

For Lake Chicot State Park: Staying here 3 days March 29-April 1, 2021 in a truck camper site a-14. I moved from a-3 because tree covered and could not get good dish signal and site was close to boat ramp road which was fairly busy. Bathroom facility being remodeled so showers only available in other parts of campground. Seems well maintained park with friendly staff. Site a 14 and 15 away from entrance road with good dish reception. Also had good Verizon reception and t mobile. Sites generally close to Chicot lake a narrow long oxbow lake generally developed with popularity for fishing and motor boats. Park rents a few kayaks and had a put in. Weather was wet and windy so did not paddle. A quiet and only partially filled campground this time of year.

For Lake Chicot State Park: Nice park. Low area flooded. Full hookups best as they are higher. Lots of slant to some sites. Lots of fish guts in trash but that is temporary. Do not attempt to access park from the south (google maps route). Go north

For Lake Chicot State Park: Very nice park, friendly staff, many amenities, ok sites, best to check lengths, interesting oxbow lake, good fishing, boating. Bathhouse ok, but torn screen on vents might let critters inside. Some feral cats around, our site was sorta smelly, so we stayed only 1 night.

For Lake Chicot State Park: We love it here. Large lots. Quiet. Lots of deer.
