For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: We really enjoyed our 8 day stay at this campground . Chuck & Ginger were wonderful hosts and manage/own this campground with care and have plans to improve . We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: We planned our stay ahead of time but when we arrived, the power pole was bad. Power tripped our surge protecter before we even turned on the coach. The voltage swung between 80 and 120. The manager was so nice but the owner did not think it was a problem. We just finished paying over $2500 for repairs caused by the last park we had power problems with because inverters and com lines cannot handle these brownouts for extended periods. I feel bad for those who plug in there without a surge protector. Thankfully we got a full refund but now have to figure out where to stay when so many parks are full in the area. Very disappointing as we had planned ahead and this was not for leisure. We are closing on a property here and will not be able to stay nearby which will cost us more in time and gas.

For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: Under new management and ownership now. Great family oriented place with many rv and tent spot for all sizes woth all hookups and WiFi! They also have some cute little cabins all around the campground. We had an amazing weekend and played in the pool and swung on a cool wood glider they have. We went to the buffalo river during the day and swam and hung out. There very close to a hardware store, harps, and dollar general , and like every camping trip, we forgot several things so that was awesome. Can’t wait to go back soon!!!

For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: Rustic old place with some good features. Full hookups on reasonably level sites tiered down a hillside. All gravel roads and sites. Some sites have two or three sites on the same pull-through; luckily, the place was not crowded so we didn't have to figure out how to pass another site to get in/out of ours. Sharp left turn at the top of the hill was almost more than we could do in our 40' MH; we brushed shrubs with the left side of our MH. Nice pool area. Friendly people.

Foster
For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: Total of 3 stars, one for Jeff the owner who we enjoyed meeting and visiting with. Another star for Rider, the owner’s dog who roams the camp in search of a pat on the head & scratch behind the ear. Third star is for the location on edge of Jasper making it ideal base to visit the many attractions in Newton County. Unfortunately the campground is 50 years old and shows it’s age. Does have full hookups w/sewer so wasn’t a problem not to use the shower house. Access to site was a little tight and steep, but very level once parked. Cable TV had 6 channels, no WIFI, and AT&T cell service varied from no service to 4 bars at our site.

For Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort: The worst place on my cross country trip. The owner refused to restrain his dog who repeatedly scared my pet who had to be restrained due to rules. His dog urinated and defecated in my site!! The showers and bathrooms are disgusting the grounds filthy
