For Hardy RV Park: We read reviews that warned of trains, but thought they were exaggerating about the noise. PLEASE, if you want to sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We pulled in late and were exhausted. We have fans to help with noise, there were no less than 11 trains that passed by between midnight at 7:20am. The fans did not help! The park is no more than 50 yards from the tracks and the trains blow their horns every time they pass over the crossing. It is LOUD. VERY LOUD. And we were so close to the tracks that I could feel the rumble through our fifth wheel as I laid in bed. We did not go into the restrooms- others have said they were gross. All we needed was sleep- epic fail on our end. Even our three children were startled by the loudness. Grass pad, mostly level. Pretty view, except noise ruined it!

Lee
For Hardy RV Park: This is a city owned park. There is a train track running through it, with trains coming along once an hour, all day and night. The trains have to blow their horns several times while passing. Plan on a sleepless night if that affects you. No hot water in the showers (we had our own anyway) Water and Electric only with separate dump. For $50/night, we would pass if coming through again. The park was clean and on a cal stream, so it’s peaceful other than when the trains blow through .

For Hardy RV Park: Sweet little no frills campground with very friendly & helpful staff. Pretty views of the river, nearby playground, and walking distance to charming downtown Hardy & restaurants.
The staff checked on us, and loaned my kids some fishing gear.
We only stayed one night, passing through, but would definitely stay again.

Nadina
For Hardy RV Park: Beautiful park by Spring River. 30 and50 Amp. Clean showers and bathrooms. No on-site dumps, but a dump available. Nice hosts. $25 for electric and water. Quiet campers, But there is a train track that is somewhat active. The main street to Hardy is interesting with unique stores. It is a wet county. I would recommend and come back to the spot! Pets welcome.

Beth
For Hardy RV Park: No frills campground, rustic bath house, next to a beautiful stream and paved walking path.
1996 Rialta. No reservation. Beautiful stream-side site. Pulled in around 8pm - after having a wonderful supper at the Pig & Whistle. Very nice staff on site. $20 for 2 people/water/30amp/dump station. Manager came by to make sure we got settled in ok. We left early (8am) and he was already cleaning the bathrooms. Overall older facilities, but CLEAN! The view was great. Quiet except for one late and one early train (but we love trains, so not an annoyance).
