For Beards Bluff: Many of the sites are level but the ones that aren’t are terrible. Site 7 is down a hill, only stay there if you have a very small trailer you can park in the flat-ish spot at the end. Aside from the level issue for a few sites, all the sites are well spaced and each has unique features. The one by the bathroom you get your own little bridge over the creek to your picnic table, though I suspect when the campground is busy others would be tempted to cut across your site to reach the bathrooms.
There are lovely waterfront sites, but they can get hit badly by the wind. I stayed in site 11 which I think was perfect, on the water but protected by the dam. Only downside is the road is close. Had good Verizon when I had it but it dropped out from time to time. Bathrooms clean, friendly host.
The dump station is across the highway, requiring two left turns on a heavily banked blind curve with logging trucks. I chose to wait and dump at my next campground.

For Beards Bluff: his was a wonderful little campground right on the lake. It had large sites with water and unmetered 15 or 30 amp electric. There is a mixture of pull-thru and other sites. There is a small playground, boat ramp, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers nice and hot. The attendant was very friendly. We were here in mid-November and we would have stayed longer if the weather had been better. This is our favorite campground so far and we will definitely be back for a visit.

For Beards Bluff: One of the nicest Core parks we stayed at . Most camp sites are pretty level and will accommodate 30’ and longer . One pull thru is un level. 30 & 50 amp . Good cell AT&T . Bathrooms & showers Very clean . Almost all campsites have a good lake view. Park staff very carrying.

For Beards Bluff: Stayed in site 6 with a 43’ big rig. This site and many others had significant slopes. Leveling was very difficult for a large rig but would be fine for a smaller trailer. Despite description I would not call this location big rig friendly. That said, it was a peaceful and quiet small park right on the lake. Since lake front spots face due west, Id recommend staying a few spots up the hill under the trees.

For Beards Bluff: We have stayed at Beards Bluff about 4 times and have found it a great place to camp and fish. Facilities are great maybe the shower water temp could have been cooler but nevertheless good showers . Park hosts were great, very friendly and informative.
We plan on going back this year for some more fun camping and fishing.
