For Iron Mountain: Beautiful wooded campsites about half full on a April Friday night. Campsites may not be perfectly level but looked like most wouldn’t require more than a couple of inches left or right or fire and aft. Facilities maybe a little old but were clean and stocked. Would definitely come again.

For Iron Mountain: This is an older COE campground. Most sites are quite small and many are far from level. Did not use the facilities but the setting is nice, the host was very friendly and helpful. Site 56 is a nice back in, a 40 ft easily fits, 55 (?) is a large pull through, sorry not positive as I could not see the site number. Lots of trees, road winds a lot. our site 53 required a backing turn due to trees.

For Iron Mountain: This was not a great COE experience. Usually we find the COE sites to be fabulous. This one, not so much. Maintenance was lacking. The sites are FAR from level. Water spigots are in only a few places on each loop. The one near us had a spring-loaded handle, so one had to hold the knob turned to get water flow. Workable, but not great. We needed to dump on the way out. The dump station looked fine when we arrived the day before, but now it was roped off with caution tape. The setting was fairly nice, in a forest along a reservoir, but given the issues, we don’t expect we’d use the place again.
