For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: This was our first Escapee park stay. The site spacing is great, the trees are large and beautiful, but some could do with a trim. Our site was all grass, but some are a mix of grass and dirt. Not many activities, which is fine with us, we enjoyed just relaxing and exploring the local area. The sites on Teal rd are close to county rd 28, so you will hear road noise. Only con- no picnic tables. We camped at Rainbow Plantation - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: No amenities. Not that friendly staff. NO wifi. Not close to anything. Skip the stop. Go to Foley.

For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: This is our 3rd stay here. Large spaces, full hookups, but activities have been severely curtailed due to Covid-19. I think they've gone over the top when it comes to restrictions at the laundry. Only one occupant at a time allowed in, and you have to wear a mask. They prohibit folding clothes in the laundry. I assume that's to get people out faster for the next person. Since leaving NY in Nov 2020, we've stayed at parks in Ohio, kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida. No other park has such restrictive rules to use the laundry. Just wear a mask. When we were here last May, my wife and I were told by the manager that only one of us could be in the laundry room at a time, even though we live in our rv together. How does that make sense? Side from that, it's a good park to stay at. That's why we're back.

For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: It's an economical, no-frills place to park, that's about it. There are people who like to be socially close, not distant or wearing masks, but most of region is the same. No buildings open due to COVID, but they still had meals available. According to the calendar, we could have enjoyed ziti today. Thanks anyway. It's about half an hour to anywhere, which makes for a peaceful place. Verizon is extremely weak, T-mobile is nonexistent. We really regret making such a lengthy reservation. We'd like to change our minds and go elsewhere!

DaVida
For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: SKP rainbow park, friendly, group exercise, jams, activities. Transient sites are FHU, grassy or dirt, plenty of shade, no privacy. Great laundry, community building way off in seasonal area. Only reason for 4 stars is 2 one-room shower, sink, toilet off behind the office, most inconvenient.

For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: Nice large level sites with easy access in and around the park. The site itself was pretty sandy so was hard to keep it out. No wifi provided by park. Had to purchase Tengo internet which isn't optimal. No bathhouse that we could find. Nice clubhouse. Great laundry. No cable tv. Some OTA TV channels. Everyone we met was so friendly. Nice areas to walk dogs. Very reasonably priced. A bit of a drive to towns but really enjoyed Fairhope. Only issue we had was only interaction with staff was that someone came over to ask when we were going to leave 7 minutes after check-out time. We were running a bit late because people kept stopping and talking to us (that is how friendly everyone is) so we felt a lot of pressure to hurry our packing up and leaving process. Checkout time of 1130 should be extended to Noon or 1p in-line with most RV parks.

For Rainbow Plantation RV Park: Well manicured transient RV sites, large with well spaced, large mature trees providing partial shade. All sites have W,E,S. WiFi is avail for purchase from Tengo, but signals are weak due to only two visable access points covering the close to 100 sites available to transients. Only 1 trash dumpster (not strategicly placed) for entire CG. Only 2 toilet/showers stalls (NOT buildings) for entire CG (small, behind registration office). If you don't have or don't want to use your RV's toilet/shower you will not be satisfied regardless of the moderate site rental rates.
