For Birmingham South RV Park: This is a lovely small state run campground. They have tons of amenities for kids.. splash pad with lots of water spraying around. Appears to be a pool that will open later in the season.
The campgrounds are spacious and clean. Water and Electric hookups. Dumpstation on premisses..
They say a 14 day limit but I am not sure if they enforce it as there is a class A sitting next to my spot that does not look like it is drivable (at least not safely) on the road. However other than that it's mostly tent campers and nice RVS around.
facilities are older but they are clean and stocked. Path leads though the woods from one side to the facilities on the other. Its is graveled and clear of brush. Apparently they have laundry but I didn't look for them.
Would definitely stay here again. 30 min to New Orleans French Quarter. Best part is you can stay here for aa week for the cost of a couple nights at the RV park located in the French Quarter area.<27.00 a night.

For Birmingham South RV Park: Love this campground. We were here for 1 night. Get easy pull through. Lots were gravel but very level. Love their bathrooms. Each shower was an individual room. Very clean! Staff was extremely friendly? Escorted us to our campsite and made sure we were ok. Will definitely stop here again!

For Birmingham South RV Park: Stayed 5/26/23 for 1 nite. Easy to make reservation over phone-friendly sounding receptionist: asked if I qualify for Military disc. (I do). LL it’s an older, established park, possibly a KOA at 1 time. Many permanent sites. Clean, fairly level sites. Didn’t use pool or restrooms
Reason for only 4 stars was cable TV wouldn’t work at assigned spot. A site was available in back with the Long Timers, which was shaded and everything worked. Gal on cart readily led me back.Will stay again

For Birmingham South RV Park: Easy to find from I-65, arrived after hours, Randy In golf cart took us to our pull through site, neeeded about 2†of leveling side to side, typical. Park is well kept with a number of full timers. Roads in need of repair, bathhouse was clean with separate shower rooms. 30 amp full hook up, site 47 washes pretty good during a heavy rain. Good Verizon signal 100 mbs bw. Lots of road noise ok during night , train track nearby and a fuel tank farm next door. We stayed 2 nights. Would stay again.
