For The Woods RV Resort: Decent sized sites. Good power. Neighborhood sketchy. Some rough looking rigs seem permanent in the back section Front section seems to be for nightly or short term stays. Online reservation was smooth enough. They email confirmation and a two page list of rules, most of which we observed being broken within our first hour there. We had an end site and the number of dog poop landmines in our “yard” was really upsetting, not to mention the smell. Gravel sites which is fine, but becoming very overgrown It appears that little to nothing is being done to keep this place decent. We won’t be back.

For The Woods RV Resort: Excellent place to pit-stop for a night or two. The location is a little odd behind a Captain D’s and Arby’s BUT the location is right off the interstate, so that was to be expected. The park is under new ownership and the staff we met was very friendly. Looked like they have some nice renovations in the works too! It is somewhat “self-serve” with reservations only being made online; we appreciated that aspect but others may not. We also extended our stay a night to explore Montgomery and check out the Legacy museum.

For The Woods RV Resort: New owners and no longer customer friendly. Now have ‘contactless checkin’ and demand online reservation, which is difficult when driving. No longer returning phone calls when messages are left requesting so. We pulled in 15 minutes prior to closing, window shade to office was pulled down upon seeing us, man barked that they were closed and you had to book online. Husband entered office anyway and was given a site Only four other transients were there. We’ve never seen that few before. My December review is listed below. We have looked at other sites to stay on our southern route and will skip this spot in the future due to them appearing to not really wanting our business.

For The Woods RV Resort: Large pull through sites for our 42’ motor home with a tow. Fresh gravel and large grassy areas between sites. Nice pond in back with fountain and ducks. Permanent residents are in back and sites look nice, not junky. Great areas for walking dogs. Small fenced in dog park but no bench. Easy off and on 65 but entrance has no sign. GPS told us where to turn and then we saw it. Entrance is between Arby’s and closed service station. Can walk to Arby’s and Burger King. Price increase since new owners took over. Went from $36 to $60. Have stayed here several times. Friendly and accommodating.

For The Woods RV Resort: Great overnight stop. Was placed in a very muddy uneven spot. Seemed like a lot of people are permanent and some unsightly units. We did not mind but others might. Grounds were very clean and grass well kept. We stayed on July 4 and a few residents were shooting off fireworks. But by 11 all was quiet. Did not check out the restrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants were close but due to COVID all were takeout only. Would stop again. Have a three due to our sight being very unlevel

For The Woods RV Resort: Great stop over spot. All sites are pull through and easy to access. Right off the interstate, walking distance to several fast food places. Cable worked well. Bathhouse was clean and staff was friendly. No privacy or ambiance but great otherwise.
