For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: IMPORTANT This RV campground has been permanently closed since early 2024. Space & Rocket center is re-purposing the area as part of Space Camp.

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: I have never written a poor review before but always room for the first. My daughter and son in law live close and we stop over to visit as we travel. Have stayed here several time and each time situation has gotten worse. Last trip in February 2022 we stayed on site 26. The 30 amp breaker was bad and keep tripping and the had no one to fix. used 20 amp and adjusted power usage and made it work. Now in March we were to be on site 4 but reassigned to site 19. Not very level more the 15 in drop front to back and 8 inches side to side. The worst is the guy next to me ran a generator all night These are full hook up sites so not sure why. According to the regulations here quiet hours are from 10 till 8 and specifically includes generators. Per instructions in the agreement I called security to ask that they address the issue. They said they would advise the campground management when they got in. Nuts so I tried to sleep with a generator running in my ear. So when management was ask it yes they knew electrical issues on site and gave permission to run generator vs moving the guy to another site. If you want to stay at horribly run campground with not rule not support and no maintenance stay here. We’re to stay two night only stayed and the last time every

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: N/S travels some ways off I65. Campground is like a small state park, spacious, very pleasant, quiet, full hookups. Only downside is not all sites are level. Space center is well worth the side trip if you are interested in the the science/history of rocketry including the Saturns.

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: The woman in the office was very helpful when emailed about availability of sites and she called to confirm. She was great. Arrived Thanksgiving day and stayed two nights. Small but nice park, right next door to the space and rocket center. Showers and bathrooms were older but worked perfectly. Driveway in could use some smoothing but other than that a very nice spot for a quick stop.

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: This RV park was perfect for our visit with grandkids to the Huntsville Rocket Center. We stayed the first week of January, 2020. The park is small, but quiet. Walking distance to the center. Jessica in the office was particularly helpful with making reservations, and changes that we needed to make. Very nice.

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: Great cheap spot for a quick overnight stay. Ample room, level spaces, quiet, easy to find. Host very pleasant to deal with. Overnight lockbox.

For US Space and Rocket Center Campground: There isn’t anything fancy but this is a sweet little campground. Paved sites and you have a decent amount of space between each site. Easy to find, close to a great museum and clean bathrooms.
