For Open Pond NF Campground: This was a beautiful place. The campsite were good sized with easy access and level. The are was clean and people were friendly. Would recommend.

For Open Pond NF Campground: Very nice recreation area - impeccably maintained. Large level RV campsites with good separation. Fishing was excellent. Gave this 4 stars only because a controlled burn had recently been completed around the campground areas so some places are a bit ugly until it grows out. This did not affect campsites close to the water. A bit eerie in that we did not see any animals - no squirrels, rabbits, frogs,very few birds and no bugs.

For Open Pond NF Campground: Wow! Beautiful National Forest campground. Stayed in C30. C &D loops are for RV's. Spacious, level,gravel sites. Water and electric at sites and dump station at entrance. Good mix of sun and shade. Views of the lake from most sites. Fire ring and picnic table. Can collect wood to burn. Bath house had 3 stalls and 1 shower. Hot water in shower. Many nature trails. $16/night or just $12 with a NP pass. Several OTA TV channels. Directions on All Stays says go 1.1 miles once you get on SR 137 but it's more than that. Open Pond sign is at intersection of SR 137 and County 24. Stayed 3/13/18 in a TT.
