For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: While this campground does provide full hookup and clean bathrooms, it’s not ideal. The train is a rail yard just a few feet behind some of the spots and engines ran all night, horns and all. In addition, you will be very close to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson which during our stay the fighter jets and engine run-ups were active (that didn’t bother us so much, we’re military, but it is loud). The staff were friendly and polite. There are trees surrounding the campground.

For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: The campground was an oasis in a not-so great part of the city. Yes, the trains were close and loud, but didn’t run after about 10:00 PM. There were trees surrounding it and if you’re in a site away from the office you back up to a green belt. Didn’t use the rest rooms or showers. Some spaces were really close together. We didn’t like our sewer hose set-up because it was raised about 4 or 5 inches and unthreaded.

For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: Huge discrimination against tenters. What has happened to real camping in a tent the old fashioned way? Tent sites are about a block from the bathroom, and they are tiny sites. The campground is convenient to downtown which is why we chose to stay here, but like other reviewers have said, it's noisy. Active train tracks less than 50 feet!

For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: Campground is Located close to town but very noisy due to nearby railroad that shook our RV whenever train went by. A decent-sized sites with some shade. Laundry facilities ok. We stayed in travel trailer in July 2016.

For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: For the amount of money we paid for this tiny tiny site, $44.10, my only words could be - RIP OFF! The way this campground is advertised, you would think that the sites would be w, spacious shaded paved and meticulously neat and clean. Let me assure you they are not.they packed the RVs into this campground like sardines. I can literally reach out my back window and knock on the window of my next-door neighbor. Then there is the trains that, rumbling in roaring through here every 30 minutes because the tracks are about 100 feet from every site. These freight trains literally shake your RV. Wi-Fi as advertised is a nonplus. There is no Wi-Fi here of any usefulness. Another false advertisement. For a place to stay because you just can't drive any further this place would suit you but at the price they charge it is a complete rip off. I would highly recommend
Avoiding this RV Campground
UPDATE To my recent review: tried using their laundry facilities. Another joke! 4 of the 4 machines were down and the one that did work wouldn't take anything but an extremely light load. AVOID THIS PARK!!

For Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park: Nice people here. Wifi worked sometimes. Best right by office as with most parks. Noise from planes and trains.
