For Ridge Park Recreation: Well manicured campground! Big lots with shaded trees. Place to swim & boat. Super friendly host at office. Highly recommend it. Reasonably priced! $35 with power.

For Ridge Park Recreation: If I could give this place negative stars I would. Let’s start with the signage when you first enter the campground, they are advertising full hookups for $30 but really only offer power. They will bring a water truck and a honey pot to your trailer for an additional cost, just the water truck is an extra $25! Everything here is an extra cost, have to pay to us the dump outside, have to pay to fill up the water by yourself BRING LOTS OF QUARTERS. extra $5 to park your vehicle by the lake. Extra charge for the boat launch. Not a cheap campsite. The host family told my kids they could pet their dogs, then someone else said oh no don’t pet those dogs they aren’t to be trusted and bite people. They say they are first come first served basis however this is not the case with the current campground host family, she will let people pick and choose which site they want to reserve weeks in advance, put up occupied signs. then people who are actually there with RV’s get the left overs. The grounds keeper drives around on his tractor and wagon all night long and bangs on the sprinkler system, which is a nuisance at 2 am. He showed up at our campsite 3 times between 11:30pm and 12:30am, the first to ask us to quiet down so we made the attempt while he was standing behind our trailers only to come back and threaten us with calling the RCMP and kicking us out that night. We stopped playing cards and sat around the fire in silence then he shows up a third time to comment on how we should be behaving then when we asked him to leave because he pulled up a chair to sit around the fire with us, he again threatened to have his wife kick us out that night. Worst campground I have ever stayed at, ever.
