For Foothills Lions Centennial Campground: We spent four months here and found this campground to be extremely well run. What we liked were the large sites (we have a 40-foot motorhome), extremely clean washroom and showers. We had our choice of 30 or 50 amp. Each campsite has its own metal fire ring. Firewood is delivered to campsite for $12. We cannot say enough about the two couples that run this place. They were friendly, helpful and made our stay most enjoyable. It also has one of the best internet services we have ever found (and we travel a lot). The town of Black Diamond is a small, unique place with good restaurants. Larger town is 10 minutes away and the city of Calgary is a 25 minute drive. Campground is situated beside the river and close to the Rocky Mountains. We have no hesitation in recommending this campground to any traveller.
